About Me

Welcome! I’m Justine Barlee—a mother, nurse, and artist. Recently, I’ve felt called to share my art with the world. Thank you for being here.
Barlee is a name I created from my grandmother, Barbara Lee—the woman who passed down my creativity and need for expression. Her influence lives in the way I see the world and in the way I create.
As a nurse, I spend many nights with strangers on the hardest days of their lives. I witness fear, grief, love, and resilience all at once. Through this work, I have learned to carry responsibility, compassion, and strength in ways I never expected. .
My art represents life. It reflects the beauty and pain of being human, the quiet strength found in survival, and the emotions that live just beneath the surface of everyday life. I hope my work sparks creativity and curiosity in the way you see the world.
And thank you again for being here. Sharing my art has been deeply healing, because after all, this began as a quiet outlet I never expected anyone to see.
with love,
Justine Barlee
